Hey! It's Good to Be Back Home Again

Last weekend Todd and I drove up to Minneapolis for a nephew's wedding in the St. Paul Temple. Great to be in the "north" again and with family....can it get any better than that?
And we just returned today from a quick trip "home" to Fargo/Casselton for multiple reasons, depending on who you ask!

#1 reason: Garrett and Saryn's open house in Fargo

It gave Garrett an opportunity to show off his bride to his ND friends and ward family. Very graciously our good friends, the Kings, hosted the event, which we truly appreciate:-) It was soooo fun to see so many of our Casselton and Fargo friends. What did we do to deserve such good friends? Many friends and neighbors from Casselton as well as our ward family dropped by. Oh, what wonderful memories!

Tragically, we had such a good time that not ONE picture was taken by a Hendrickson. Bummer.

#2 reason: Marathons:-)

Yes, six Hendricksons ran the Fargo 1/2 Marathon (so far the BEST organized marathon we have EVER participated it...Go Fargo!) as an entire family....well, Julie, who is 9.1 months pregnant, was excused:-) We missed her and Brandon. Next year, right guys?!

But it was Saryn's first 1/2 and she rocked!

Here's a few pics with a disclaimer: It was raining for 1/2 the race and hence we all look like drowned cats. It added about 15 pounds to each of us (great excuse, huh!).

#3 Reason: Casselton High School graduation open houses:

Another opportunity to roam the streets of that fine community, Casselton, and get re-acquainted with neighbor, after neighbor, after neighbor. We wrapped up the evening with the Christiansons, need I say more?
